In this peaceful day of rain I'm finally going to write about my experience at Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta.
It begun everything so fast, and I had to be ready to start learning how to work. Fortunally I've found a person that was doing the internship there that has my same age, that showed me how to do and told me the main things.
Today I have my day off and it's very precious because there at the reception we have to sweat and work hard to maintain the quality of 4 stars hotel.
What I've found is a really kind relationships with the collegs and all the hotel's staff that is very important for the work place, it makes you work with more passion and energy!
By the way, the guests that comes to us are more old aged at the Duchi I think because they can appreciate more the traditional way of architecture and furnishings but younger people comes too, especially to the Vis à Vis that is the other Hotel from the same owner called Magesta and it's renovated, on the other side of the road. I have time and opportunity to improve my English and patience but for that is not a problem, I'm patient enough. Unfurtunately when guests talk to me in German I can just understand the number of the room to give them the key, for now.
Some rooms at Duchi are new too and are something special but I think that it's normal for a 4 star Hotel.
In the end the stage it's not over yet but the main thing that I'm learning and I wanted to learn is to get finished the work that has begun.
